SILVERBACK IN THE 80’s
Silverback himself was first exposed to breaking in 1983 at The Roxy in New York, and in 1984 learned basics from Mr. Wiggles, Fast Break and their local crew members at the Lynch Police Athletic League Center in South Bronx, later joining street hitter Wayne Blizz and the Float Committee.
Silverback moved onto a financial career and did not actively return to breaking until late 2010, sponsoring some events in 2011, including The Urban Movement Tour competition in Philadelphia and other competitions and showcases.
